Jazz in the Gardens - The Rogue Suspects - July 1, 2010
Join us Thursday in the formal garden of the Voorhies Mansion for live music by The Rogue Suspects.
The group is accused of spreading energetic blues performances that rock the house. This is a smokin’ group of musicians that feature southern Oregon’s finest talent. Their sound has been described as a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughn and Steely Dan. The Rogue Suspects have appeared at just about every major club, festival and concert venue in the region. Whether opening for legendary James Brown at the Britt Festival, performing as back up band for Rock & Roll icon Bo Diddley or appear in the local night spots, The Rogue Suspects are professional, versatile and exciting!
Founded by Greg Frederick (bass) and Dirk Price (guitar) in the late 90’s, the group performs with keyboard sensation Dean Angermeier, funky drummer David Bolen and legendary guitarist Jeff Pevar.
Admission is $5.00 per person. All ages are welcome. Performances are from 6-9pm. Check out our jazz food menu that includes past favorites and some new items created this season. A variety of wine, draft beer and soft beverages will be available as well.
